summer is over!

photography / styling / creative direction

exploring the human tendency to augment nature using artificial means.

this project replicates the stereotypical last day of summer, where we go out and let the sun burn our skin for the sake of short-term vanity. the lemons serve as a harsh critique of the products and chemicals we endure for that universally desired glow.

the flowers are plastic. but if you stand far enough away, it all somehow seems real.
